We have several absences, so I am going to list what we have been doing in class this week. Hopefully, this will help you stay on task.  I am sure many of you have not felt like completing school work.  I will help you when you return.  If you are able to do some homework, it will be here for you.  Get well soon!

7 & 8 Grade (Work for the Week)

• You need 5 sources for your research paper- Print them
• Complete Quiz 14 & 15 in Grammar Worksheet Packet
• Spelling Pages 44-45, List 18 test is Friday
• There is a Grammar Test on Thursday
• I gave bonus opportunity.  Please see me when you return 

9 & 10 Grade  

• Finish reading Romeo and Juliet
• Spelling pages 73-74
• Spelling and Vocabulary Test 9B is Friday 
• Research Paper Information was given out and Due Dates Set (see me when you return to get the information)

11 & 12 Grade 

• Free Write Assignment is due on March 11; MLA style, 2-3 pages
• Introduction:  Story, author, point author is trying to make
• Body
• Paragraph 1:  5-6 Sentence Summary
• Several Paragraphs:  Support your claim.  Why/how is the author making his point

• Must have 2-3 Quotes
• Avoid using "I"; write in active voice

• Conclusion: restate thesis
