Spelling/Vocabulary: Complete page 61 and read over your spelling words from this list also. Read Poem on page 76 (“I Sing the Mighty Power of God”
Research New Words that have been added to the dictionary! Find three words that have been added in the last three years! Write them down, including the definition. You may learn something new today J
Grammar: Use your grammar textbook and complete the following pages
138 Ex. A, & Page 140 Ex. B Adjectives
166 Ex. A & B Adverbs
*Be sure to read the pages on adjectives and adverbs if you have forgotten what you put in your Power Points.
Literature: Read the story, “The Duster.” It begins on page 324. Answer questions 1 and 4 on page 330. Use complete sentences.

9th and 10th Grade

Literature/Public Speaking: Watch the video I sent you and follow the directions to send me a video supporting the rhetoric you chose (ethos, pathos, logos). *This is the largest part of your assignment this week. Make sure you do a good job!
Find an ad and send me a picture of it, telling me what rhetoric approach it is using. Don’t forget to use the resource I posted reminding you of the definitions of ethos, pathos and logos.
Grammar/Writing: Complete and correct the punctuation and capitalization review
Your curriculum is winding down! Don’t slow down! Keep working until we are finished. Your hard work throughout the work has paid off and your assignments during this pandemic are proving that! I am proud of you all.
