Chapel Day Schedule for Secondary Effective 2nd Nine Weeks 

 

7:50 - 8:05 - Students arrive to school, go to lockers, and report to gymnasium for chapel.  Check in at table in New Gym Foyer for attendance,

• Teachers in Secondary Hallway:  Mrs. Conley & Mrs. Stull
• Teachers in New Gym:  Mr. Carr & Mr. Bice
• Mrs. Cole will take attendance (if she is absent, it will be Mrs. Lucky)
• Lunch count will be taken in the class immediately following chapel.

8:10 -8:55– CHAPEL

8:58 – 9:43- 1st Period Class (take lunch count)

9:46- 10:30- 3rd period Class

10:33 – 11:11- 4th period

Chapel Attendance Policy

At NLCA, chapel is an important part of our school community. It’s a time to worship, grow spiritually, and encourage one another. Regular attendance shows respect for this shared time and for the values of our school. Faithfulness in chapel attendance is part of honoring God, our school community, and your personal growth. Please make every effort to attend and participate each week.

Attendance Expectations

• Each student is allowed up to three (3) chapel absences
  • Chapel absence is defined as arriving late (after chapel is over) and staying for the remainder of the school day. (Intentionally skipping chapel)
• After a student’s third chapel absence, additional absences—or arriving late to avoid chapel—will result in disciplinary action.

1. After-school detention will be assigned.
2. The student’s Bible class grade will be lowered.

Continued absences beyond this point may lead to a referral to the NLCA Board of Directors for further review and possible action.

Excused Absences

• Chapel absences may be excused only with a valid doctor’s excuse, which must be turned into the office promptly.
• Absences without professional documentation will be considered unexcused.
