October 13 - 17

The County Literature Fair will be Tuesday, October 14.  Set up is Monday, the 13 in our gym.  I am proud of all our students that made it!  We will be rooting for you. 

Things to plan for this week:

• Everyone will have a spelling/vocabulary test on Thursday
• There will be grammar quizzes this week, but I will tell you at least one day in advance.  We are working at different paces, so the days will vary.  Bring a planner to class to write important days down and you will be sure to be prepared.
• 11/12 Grade has a literature test on Tuesday.  You will get a study guide on Monday.
• All classes will need to take chapel notes this week.  Those notes are due the next time you are in English class whether that is Wednesday or Thursday.  
• You turn those into the homework collection box on the front of my desk.  
• Don't forget what you learned about notetaking.  
• Be detailed and specific.  
• Include Scripture references. 
• Include the main ideas.  
• Write down how the lesson applies to you.
